Bluegrass Royalty Rhonda Vincent and Vermont Bluegrass staple Beg, Steal or Borrow to Grace the Stage at Spruce Peak Arts this January and February
STOWE, VT (January 5, 2023): Spruce Peak Arts, whose mission is to inspire, educate, and entertain, and new Executive Director Seth Soloway are pleased to present Bluegrass Royalty, Rhonda Vincent on Thursday, January 11, 7:00 pm and Vermont Bluegrass staple Beg, Steal or Borrow on Saturday, February 17, 7:00 pm upcoming concerts. Performing on Thursday, January 11 at 7:00 pm, Renowned for her extraordinary voice and masterful command of the mandolin, Rhonda Vincent will bring her timeless classics and soul-stirring melodies to the heart of Stowe, Vermont. This promises to be an unforgettable night of bluegrass brilliance, captivating audiences with the pure essence of this beloved genre.
“New Queen of Bluegrass” - Wall Street Journal Grammy Award-Winning Vincent transcends the boundaries of bluegrass with her powerful vocal style. With an unprecedented 7 consecutive Female Vocalist of the Year awards (plus an 8th) from the International Bluegrass Music Association, she is a member of the Grand Ole Opry, and collaborated with Dolly Parton on the Elton John/Bernie Taupin Tribute Project, “Restoration”. Her music honors traditions of classic bluegrass while finding room for the more contemporary melodic and lyrical outlook of country music.

Performing on Saturday, February 17 at 7:00 pm, Enjoy a homegrown in Vermont concert, supporting local artists, when Vermont bluegrass staple Beg, Steal or Borrow returns to Spruce Peak Arts. Their latest album OLD MOUNTAIN TIME “displays a knack for sticky melodies and an appreciation for bluegrass convention” according to the Seven Days VT. Additionally, according to BlueGrass Today, they “exceeded expectations by creating an impressive repertoire of original songs that boast both contemporary and archival appeal.”
