CHAIN THEATRE CELEBRATES INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL WITH THE RETURN OF THE USUAL REJECTS
The Usual Rejects Present: Send a Maniac to Catch a Maniac: DEMOLITION MAN!
August 8–9 | Doors at 7:30 PM
312 W. 36th Street, 4th Floor | New York, NY 10018
New York, NY; July 30, 2025 – In celebration of the Chain Theatre’s annual international film festival, the critically acclaimed Usual Rejects return to bring down the house—again. Following sold-out performances of Titanic, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Star Wars, The Usual Rejects are ready to blast into the future with Send a Maniac to Catch a Maniac: DEMOLITION MAN! A staged parody fan event like no other.
Join us for two nights only, August 8 and 9, for a high-octane, low-morality dive into the 2032 dystopia where bad words are banned, Taco Bell is gourmet, and Sylvester Stallone’s cryogenically thawed fists of justice are humanity’s last hope.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
- Live staged parody performance
- Trivia contests
- Raffle prizes
- Audience participation madness
- A silent auction where one lucky winner plays “god” and distributes beers to the cast mid-show (yes, really)
- Plus: Find out once and for all how the hell those three seashells work.
🎟 Tickets are $20 in advance (or $25 at the door) available now at https://www.usualrejects.com/. Includes one complimentary drink (because even in the future, booze helps). 21+ only.
This event is a fundraiser for the Chain Theatre, a non-profit arts organization supporting indie film and theatre in NYC.
Get ready to break the law—with laughter.
