    "body": "<p>Los Angeles - June 9, 2026: Lewberger and <em>SLAM FRANK&rsquo;S </em><strong>ALEX LEWIS</strong> is set to star in the developmental reading of <em><strong>BUCKET OF BLOOD: THE HORROR COMEDY CABARET, </strong></em>directed by <strong>Ari Stidham</strong>, who adapted the book and added new songs with arrangements and musical direction by <strong>Ethan Furman</strong>. The event will take place at <strong>The NiteCap</strong> (2200 West Burbank Boulevard #B, Burbank, CA) on Friday, June 26 &amp; July 3 at 8 pm and Saturday, June 27 and July 4 at 2 pm. Tickets will be $25 and are available at <a href=\"https://www.bucketofblood.net/\"><u>www.bucketofblood.net/</u></a></p><p>Lewis will play Walter Paisley, the busboy-turned-murderer at the center of the story.</p><p>This cabaret version of <em><strong>BUCKET OF BLOOD: THE</strong></em> <em><strong>ORIGINAL BEATNIK MUSICAL</strong></em> draws on the twisted vision and macabre mind of Roger Corman. <em><strong>Bucket of</strong></em> <em><strong>Blood</strong></em> brings you back to a time when jazz was in the air, the counterculture was in full swing, and the beatnik art scene was just die for, daddy-o.</p><p>When he accidentally kills a cat and covers it in clay, Walter Paisley, an unlucky and impressionable busboy, suddenly rises to the top of the art world.
