Highlighting the incredible achievements of THE OUTSIDERS  and SUFFS

New York, NY (June 18, 2024) – Maestra Music, a trailblazing organization dedicated to empowering women and nonbinary musicians in the theater industry, is thrilled to congratulate the outstanding winners at this year's TONY Awards, particularly highlighting the incredible achievements of THE OUTSIDERS  and SUFFS, which earned both Best Original Score and Best Book of a Musical for Shaina Taub. These musicals not only captivated audiences but also brought home prestigious awards, thanks to the extraordinary talents of the creative and musical teams.

 

BEST MUSICAL – THE OUTSIDERS ​ took home the coveted award for Best Musical, a testament to its powerful storytelling, compelling performances, and exceptional musical craftsmanship. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the Maestras whose contributions were instrumental in this success:
